Working within the Commercial Finance department of this leading technology business in the Birmingham area Reporting to the Vice President this is a high profile role and you will need to be able to demonstrate being able to build effective working relationships at all levels. The key objective of the position is to both manage, and assist in, the preparation of financial reporting for the Group as a whole including both external and internal reporting. External reporting will include statutory accounts and quarterly reporting; whilst internal reporting will include monthly management accounts and forward looking plan and forecast reporting. This role also involves interface with: the CFO and the other finance departments in the UK and around the world.

The individual who filled this position would probably have previous public company and US GAAP reporting experience. This will require good up to date technical literacy which is likely to have been established from employment with a “top 20” accounting firm and qualification as a chartered accountant.
