Inside Sales Team Lead
Location: Evanston, IL

Base = $50k
Commission = $35k – $50k

Overview:

My client is now seeking an accomplished and driven Inside Sales Team Lead to manage a team in our Evanston, IL office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efforts of a team of Outbound Sales Representatives and generating new business via making professional telephone calls to distribution businesses in the auto, building products, and food industries. This candidate must have experience managing a team of high performance telephone-based sales representatives and in selling on-demand/SaaS software products in the B2B space.

Responsibilities:

• Motivate and manage a team of 5 Inside Sales Associates to exceed our team’s goals
• Promote a positive work environment in line with the Mission Statement
• Must have experience working in high volume sales environments and is extremely organized
• Must demonstrate the ability to Mentor and Coach a team of Sales Representatives and develop growth plans for improvement
• Report daily, weekly and monthly inside sales metrics and results to upper management
• Must be proficient in using sales automation tools, CRM systems
• Generate interest in sales-i through outbound calls daily
• Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects both over the phone and via e-mail
• Work with a monthly, quarterly and yearly quota
• Develop and sustain knowledge of sales-i’s offerings and associated technologies

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven telephone-based Sales Management experience (both inbound and outbound calling)
• 3+ years in a supervisory/management role
• On-demand/SaaS software products in the B2B space a strong plus
• Proven ability to work independently (prospecting and cold calling)
• Good skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
